June Safari Update – Day 4
June Safari Update – Day 4
June 4, 2014
Up early as usual for a run down to Moru Kopjes in hopes of delivering cats again. Again, we hit payload including two huge good looking males and three cubs that were about 3 months old. One cheetah in the plains area rounded out the wonderful day. While working in the Moru Kopjes area, everyone was impressed with the landscapes and kopje formations. On our return to camp, we went through a classic and heavy African rain storm. With rain at camp and all around us, the wildebeest are once again on the move. This time, they are returning from the north back to the western corridor area, running right in front of our camp for hours on end. The sounds at nigh of their movement made for a truly African experience. Tomorrow we are off the the hippo pool among other places.
Cheers and happy photo’ing
