MEXICO Wrap Up
One week aboard ORION was just what the soul needed, a desperate reprieve from the cold rainy gray skies of the northwest. Although a great time was had by all aboard, Mother Nature dealt us a fairly stiff hand with heavy wind and a nasty sea-state. Combined with NO whales, they remain on the pacific side as of this writing, we simply came up empty handed when it came to the whales and whale sharks. As with all photographic adventures, things often occur that are beyond your control and you simply have to make the best of it – so we did. I am thinking that next year, a better time would be in early to mid March for better chances of the whales.
So there you have it, Mexico is over.
Cheers and happy photoing
